On Day 5 God made the birds. He made the fish.
God said all the things He made on Day 5 were good.

On Day 6 God made all the animals.
He made cows. He made lions.
He made dogs and cats.

Genesis 1:24, 25

On Day 6 God also made a man. He made a woman too.
The man’s name was Adam. The woman’s name was Eve.
God said all the things He made on Day 6 were good.

On Day 7 God’s work was done. So God rested on Day 7.
He named Day 7 the Sabbath.
