Light in Darkness is dedicated to sharing the Three-Angels Messages with the world.

Light in Darkness is run by Jacobus and Rachel, a couple currently residing in Namibia, Africa.

It is our vision to share the truths of God’s Word, not only in our current field but through videos and printed materials with those anywhere in the world who want to follow God.

Our ministry began in 2011 when our founder Jacobus read about the Waldenses, Bible-believing Christians during the Dark Ages that did much to preserve the Word of God and spread the truth through Europe prior to the time of the Reformation.

The name Light in Darkness comes from the Latin phrase, “Lux Lucet in Tenebris” which was the motto of the Waldenses and means “the light shines in the darkness”.

Our logo also is based on the Waldensian symbol.

Rachel joined the ministry in 2018 when the couple was married.

She has a particular interest in healthy cooking and nutrition and is writing a cookbook (plant based foods) along with other ministry projects.

When he is not preparing Bible studies or videos, Jacobus enjoys learning about organic gardening and spending his time in the garden.
